The tripod also has a versatile SLIK SBH-150DQ all-metal compact ball head with quick release system for faster, easier mounting of a camera. The SPRINT PRO 150 is a full sized tripod when it is extended to its maximum height of almost 64 inches. The adjustable legs angles can be used to splay the legs out and lower the tripod. When used with the built-in short center column, (the included center column unscrews into two pieces) the camera is just 6.4 inches off the ground for extremely low angle or macro photography out in the field. When retracted and closed, the SLIK MINI series tripods are about the size of standard telephoto lens, meaning they can be carried in your camera bag all the time so tripod support is always at hand! Besides its traditional use as a tripod, the SLIK MINI PRO III has another great feature, the ability to use the tripod as a “Chest-Pod” camera support. To use it as a chest-pod, first loosen the locking collar around the center column, pull out (raise) the center column at least one inch and tighten. Then, with the legs spread, place the feet of the legs against your upper chest. Loosen the tripod head and position the camera so you can see through the viewfinder comfortably. Description

SLIK’s exclusive A.M.T. super titanium alloy legs make the PRO 700 DX tripod rock steady yet lighter than it looks. The A. M. T. alloy has a 40% greater strength to weight ratio than standard aluminum, meaning the legs are lighter weight yet stronger than the standard metal used in most of today’s tripods.

Using the same quick release system as the PRO 700 DX tripod head, the Slik Ball Head SBH-808 has one of the fasted and easiest quick release plates in the industry. SLIK made a circular quick release plate that can secure the camera to the tripod pointing in any direction, making attaching your camera (once the SLIK quick release plate is attached) more intuitive than most other heads that have squared off or angled plates.

Capable of handling the weight of large format (4x5) field cameras or heavy, long telephoto lenses, The PRO 700 DX offer professional photographers and advanced amateurs the strength and stability they need while its size, and the use of A. M. T. alloy, make it lighter weight and more portable than THE PROFESSIONAL series.

A.M.T. alloy makes the PRO 700 DX black tripod closer to the weight of a comparable sized carbon fiber tripod than a standard aluminum tripod. Like the weight of carbon fiber but not crazy about the price? Then check out the PRO 700 DX legs only. Match it with your favorite head and you have a winning combination. Capable of handling the weight of professional DSLRs with heavy, long telephoto lenses, The PRO 700 DX offer professional photographers and advanced amateurs the strength and stability they need. The PRO 700 DX makes setting up easy with secure yet fast speed release leg locks, gearless center column, and 3 position adjustable angle leg locks for easy set up on uneven ground or steps. The PRO 700 DX center column is actually two threaded pieces that unscrew to convert the top piece to a short column. This combined with the adjustable leg angle locks allows the tripod to be lowered to just 15 inches for very low angle or macro photography in the field. Value, today it’s more important then ever. Compare the price and features of the PRO 700 DX to other manufacturer’s professional camera supports and you will see that dollar for dollar and feature for feature, this is one of the best values in a professional tripod available.
